hello guys...i'm newbie in using this application...3ds max... well i'm hoping that i found the right place to learn this stuff...i am actually a graduating BS Computer Science student... i need help for my thesis..LOL.. anyways, i'm planning to create a virtual museum for my thesis using 3ds max... is it possible? coz i want my museum connected to a database of paintings and facts that can be change by the admin...

It is possible. Check out a program called wirefusion. I don't know how to use it but I know it's possible to use it to create 3d presentations for use online. I'm pretty sure it can intergrate 2d and 3d elements, there was a full version of it in 3D World mag December 2006. There's also a tutorial in it. It might be worth seeing if you can get it as a back issue

Yes it may be possible to do it with a mix of Flash and whatever they use to integrate 3d into that.
