Well this is an image I'm working on for my portfolio. Just a figure study but I'm trying to make it as realistic as I can in the time. Spent 6 hrs on it today used PS and painter. Sketched the outline first then blocked the colors then began the long process of blending it all together.

I traced the outline to save time but the actual painting is free hand, lining them up side by side in PS/Painter and just going for it.

Yea man it took me 16 hrs to make the paint filter look just right hahaha. I can post ref if your interested. It is pretty different.
