First, sorry for my english...

Second, I render in Mental Ray, with Mr Sun & Sky.

In my video, i make my object apppear (fade in) but at the begining, when opacity of the objects (material standard) is set to 0, i see the shadow or whatever of objects.... How can i remove the shadow ???

Thanks!

For stuff like Opacity within animations, I like to render the objects separately, having 2 files.. Background, and Object. When you have the animation done. You composite them together..

You can acheave this by going to your Object Properties
- select your main object, and right click, and select the object properties.

In there Uncheck Visible to camera, and the recieve shadows.

This will leave you with the only the background rendering.

Once you render your bg, do the same thing but inverse your selections, have your main object be visible and able to recieve shadows, and have your bg be the invisible..

Now you have 2 seperate files that can be composit together using your video editing software and you can play with your object opacity freely without having many troubles.

Good luck!!
