Anyone can teach me how to make an apple the easy way ? I tried making this apple and i use editable poly and soft selection...
but It doesn't feel too handy for me..

..

actually this is an apple.. but it looks like an orange to me...

crits....? =)
1st is mental ray rendered..
2nd pic is only ambient color..
3rd with self illumination...

the shape is fine. it just needs a nice apple texture. like this one.

Looks like an apple to me, like Tyson said you just need to apply a good material.

At the moment it looks like a peach to me, but Apples and peaches look a lot alike.

I think the green is supposed to be at the top like in the second image. just needs a bit of specular, a texture on the leaf and one on the stem too. maybe try modeling a bite taken out of it. if you're up for a challenge..

any suggestion how I'm gonna model a bite out of it?? I'm weak with texturing stuffs...

Yeah, just perhaps make a sphere with a noise modifier on it. quite detailed then use that to boolean out a chunk. then select the polygons on the inside of the bite mark and give them a white/yellow material with a bit of spec.

tried it but can't make it really real the texture of the apple stills fit in it
