The way I see it there is no harm in promoting websites that may or may not be in direct competition with us, as far as we are concerned we all are members of the art community and at the end of the day it is that community that matters. Having said this however we do not appreciate people signing up with the sole intention of promoting their services. So from this point forth anyone who's first contribution to the site is nothing more than a direct attempt the advertise to our users will be banned.

We try to keep the fascism you might see on other sites to a minimum, after all we don't want people to be afraid to post here. So if you have any thoughts on the matter please post them below.

Thanks,
Jamie.

i think it's a good attitude, most websites / forums ban just for mentioning the competition

Yeh, I don't think it's too much to ask to introduce yourself, help some people out and maybe vote in the challenges or something before you post your ad.
