Nice, very slick. No crits so far it looks pretty accurate. Cant wait to see this with a texmap. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
OK not really anything major and sorry if I'm jumping the gun as it is a work in progress:
The cockpit (while a bit off) makes it look like your going for an early model p51 (allison engined), while the engine faring is that of a late model (Merlin-engined). Propeller also needs to be three-bladed for an early model, or three/four bladed for a later.
I've attached a couple of pics to show what I mean.
Following your maxim of leaving no INVENTORY uncluttered, you receive +1 NIKON D90
The blue prints I have are for the earlier model from the looks of it. My plans only showed 2 blades, but I am going to change it to 3. This is just my first day on it so I have a lot of tweaking to do.. Thanks for the input.

Well, I've posted another update. I've spent a few hours on it today. I appreciate the crits and the photo reference. It's really starting to come together. It will probably somewhat textured like this for the commercial as it will fit the look they are going for, but afterward, I will spend more time on landing gear. I still have a lot of stuff to do on this and will post another update soon.
My only suggestion would be to harden the edges around where the guns attach to the wings a little bit. Other than that it's looking really good.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
If anyone is interest, the commercial for the "I Love America" 4th of July Celebration is complete for my church. They will be airing it in mid June. Every year this event draws in over 100,000 people. They have an airshow, concert, kids games and of course, fireworks. I was very happy to be able to participate in this. They have never put 3D in their commercial before.
These are the elements I added:
Rockets (with Afterburn) , Fireworks (particle Flow), Lady Bug, Banner, Planes (with Afterburn Smoke) & Birds
All the other Elements with Illustrator and After Effects, plus the audio was done by someone else at church.
Hehe... I hear ya.. 18 hours of modeling for 1 second on the screen..lol.. Good thing I didn't need detailed textures. But it great to see something I did on tv. Make you feel like it was all worth it.
