1. What's the best way to make the dust cloud flow over the ground rather than penetrate it. I'm using UOmniflect but that only stops the particles from passing through completely.
2.I can't get the shape facing to rotate or spin.
Any help is appreciated.
I can't seem to find a tutorial that takes me beyond what I already know.

OH i love particle flow! I wish all the problems on this thread were particle flow related.
(dumb comment)Why do you have shape facing AND static mesh? (/dumb comment)
1. Sandwich the particles between a gravity plane with dampening options and a low poly proxy that represents your terrain used as a collision object (EXAMPLE view first image). This is my choice if you have complex geometry to work with.
Another method is using two Gravity planes with dampening settings, sandwiching the particles.
2. Set "Shape Facing 01" >orientation: "Allow Spinning".
Static Mesh? I have material static. I changed the speed to speed by icon, cause the PF will be a dust trail behind a car. How do I make it start/stop emitting with the movement?
Never mind about the SM comment. I misread and my mind was in the wrong place.
Oh... it's from a car. crap that's a different set up.
It should be really simple. In fact "speed" with "variation" and Divergence" turned up will give you some neat results. also you might what to add a cross wind using "wind" under the "Force" operator.
I want to play with this more, so I'll add more after I've gotten some sleep. Sleep is good.
Sorry I didn't mention the car being involved. What you have suggested so far gives me some ideas, maybe I can come up with a creative solution from that. So I didn't completely waste your time.
It's like I had a hammer and some nails and you pointed out I have a saw too.
I already have a cross wind.
Even though it's starting to look pretty good, I'm thinking I need to rethink my material.
Haha, I've played with After Effects some, played with motion tracking, did a light saber thing. I'm afraid if I used After Effects for this it would be the same thing... how do I do this how do I do that.
