Hey dude I see your starting to work some details in to your models. The nose seems a little strange. I would recommend placing your model on a flat plane in max and rendering it out. It's hard to see it as a whole the way you have done it. If textures are not your thing or you just have not had much of a chance to work with them yet I would recommend just focusing on your models I good model should will stand on it's own. I can see some rendering issues around certain parts of the model. How are you rendering this? Keep it up man I would love to see this model with even more details. How new are you to max? I know of some cool tutes you might want to check out. let me know if you want me to link you up?! Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
well it used to have good textures but the skylight thingy made them fade away.. the way im rendering it is just by pressing the render button and ive had max for like 2 weeks now, and i'd love to have some cool tuts

if your using the skylight, it makes textures just a flat colour as it is in your image. but thats if your only using the skylight, add in some other lights and the textures should work fine.
as for tutorials heres some which i found really helpful. they are a series of videos showing the making of a low poly game character. they show a lot of maxs tools as well as the theory behind proper mesh flow and all that fun stuff.
the low poly character series at the bottom of the page are the ones you want. They are massive downloads but they are in real time and chock full of information.

and it's a story that might bore you, but you don't have to listen, because I always knew it was going to be like that.
cool Ill make up a list and stick it in the tutes section when I have some free timePlease support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
definately a good start, but I think you need to work on the materials a bit more. Do what the real matt said and add other lights to give it a bit more definition and bring the textures out. Then repost it so we can have a look. Keep up the good work.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
