Not sure where this came from! It just popped in my head that I wanted to make pool balls and some type of animation with it. I have all of the ball diffuse maps done and I'm ready to move to making the pool stick. The opposite side of my UV Map was off by very little, but it kept jumping below or above and wouldn't quite line up properly when I rotated it. I think it will be close enough. Does anybody know if there is somewhere in the UVW Editor tool to turn off a degree snap?

Now you made me want to play it :/
Nice render...I like it. Is it some HDRI or simple (v-ray) lights?
ooh, and one more thing Number 14 is solid right? Because on its place you shoul've place a striped ball And it looks like both green balls are solid But I could be wrong:/

It's just how the ball is turned, but it is striped.. If you look at the very right edge of 14 you can see it. One think I do need to do is change the color on the 7 and 15. It should be more of a maroon color. Looks too much like 11.
I am using HDRI and v-ray light. I'm just using HDRI for reflections not illumination.

Nice. theres something about them thats so tactile. I used to have a table up at my parents place. i played every night and got drunk in what is now my dads art studio. I think he still uses the table when he throws a party. a few suggestions just for the sake of it. maybe you could try making a green felt surface for the renders. maybe an oren nayer blinn with a texture and bump, or perhaps a very short fine vray fur?. or maybe hair and fur mod? Ive never tried making super close up felt before. I would also try adding a very subtle glossy map for some scratches and glitches in the reflections. and depth of field. imagine your shooting these shots with a camera you would need a full on macro lens with very shallow DOF try a vray camera or even just a regular camera and use the camera target as the focus point.
Thanks for the suggestions Tyson.. My next step is doing the table top. I did think about DOF, but I may save that for my final render. Thanks for the input guys.
