I've been hired to do a short 15 to 20 animation for a new product for a commercial. I may need some help as I have not taken any huge leaps in unwrapping. I have to create a realistic "Bass" Fish. I'm going to model and rig it this weekend. If you are really good at unwrapping, let me know and we can work out a deal. Let me know if you are interested and I will let you know if I will need the help or not.

Believe it or not, the job I'm doing at the moment has had me modeling and texturing a LOT of fish. I might be able to help you out but it's a little bit tricky at the moment as I only have custody of my computer on weekends, as I'm using it at work. PM me if you want.

Thats a great model. I'd be happy to have a crack at texturing it next week but honestly you would be pretty much done if you map it planar down its length and make sure theres a smooth transition along the seem. Ie: a solid colour on either side of the seam.
will it be animated in the water or is it going to be a focused close up?

awesome dude. looks great, I'd maybe make a specular map based on the diffuse to make him sparkle on his scales. and create a opacity map for his fins so they are semi transparent where they get thinner.

I made the Specular Map and a Displacement map also to give it more texture. It didn't take much, just a setting of 1.0. Good idea on the Opacity map though, I'll work on that.
