I made this computer practical room just for practicing lighting. effect...! but i'm getting patches on the stool seats......suggest some solutions for it.... i'm posting the images...!!
Model some fluro lights and stick them to the roof. Then put lights on them instead of having lights just floating and creating hotspots on the roof for no apparent reason.
yaa.. varnished....i thought doing so... but didn't do in hurry...
well i mean the stool seat..i.e. the cushion...! i'm getting patches on it... when i turned on advanced lighting.... well..i increased the meshes too...and also indirect illumination.... but still in the final rendering i got patches as u can see in the images above...!

Yeah, not sure then. I dont use radiosity anymore, I use irradience maps in vray. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
Yeh, it's useful, it's just another type of GI. There are several different ways of calculating how light is bounced round a scene. Radiosity's one, as is Photon mapping, ray tracing etc.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
