Hi guys, First post - here's hoping this is quite clear.

I am new to using 3DS max and have a quick question. I imported a 3D CAD model from Autodesk Inventor into 3DS Max, and have noticed that none of the contraints (from assembly mode) carry over. I can understand why this occurs, however most parts i am moving about, must be located into the center of a vessel Moonpool. This would obviously be much easier if i could set distance constraints in the 3DS max enviroment. is this Possible??

you can adjust affect pivot of your model on the center of your vessel. its located at Hierchy on the creating and modifying panel
