Yeah I would recommend if you want to get a clean line drawing you use pencil and scan it. Then color it in photoshop etc. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
yeah it takes mad skills to sketch cleanly with a wacom. I usually sketch with mech pencil, scan and then pen tool, then paint colour and tone with the wacom. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
I would suggest painter then. It is much more natural when it comes to drawing and sketching. Corel Painter 11 has real brushes and pencils very cool stuff. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
well then you need to not be ubuntu because all of the good art tools are on windows... Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
I know, but I should spend most of my time doing homework anyway. Linux keeps me from wasting time since it's mostly about work. And I don't need a virus or spyware scanner
Oh and I can't use an OS that doesn't have Compiz desktop effects. I can't live with out it. I can't! I'd die first!
Ha! But I specifically got the 14 gig HD so I COULDN'T do that. I'm almost at max capacity as it is.
I'm a hardcore time waster, so I took steps to keep myself distanced from my favorite apps and games.
Friends I visit with scold me regularly for my decision since I can't play games online anymore and play Starcraft 2 when it comes out.
I think it's for the best. What's better than being an artist and playing good quality games? Having lots of money! Here's a song I could have written: [Link to www.youtube.com] Another words, I'm going to be the master of tax sheltering.
Oh good luck trying to use ubuntu cause I could for the life of me not get the pressure sensitivity working... it took me long enough screwing around to get it to work in "pen mode" not "mouse mode" >.<
was one of the main reasons I don't use the OS any more.
It is ok, I wouldn't talk to me either...
I got it working. 9.10 has the wacom drivers all built in. But it has pressure sensitivity; I think it was working out of the box, but I don't remember now.
and yeah does take a week or so to get use to the thing, but once you do it makes drawing on the pc a lot more fun!
It is ok, I wouldn't talk to me either...
