Hey guys, Just got a question about how to approach a particular effect in realflow.
I have a few shots to do where these huge old looking towers are growing up through the city
as if they were buried for centuries. In the script they grow up then start emitting light and destroy the surrounding city.
anyway I'm taking a fairly stylised approach because it also says it has to be almost calm like in a dream or something.
so I thought a good shot to see the first tower coming up would be from the ocean in the harbour. Ive done some simple
stuff in realflow with sprays etc.. and Ive used the realwave plane and dropped stuff in to make splashes but how would
you get an object to come up from under the surface break with a splash and have water gush over the edges?
any ideas or tips?.

You could use Fill Object, although that creates a ridiculous amount of particles so be prepared for that. Animate your object rising in max and then export the scene with the SD saver plugin. When you import it it should retain the animation.
