i have some vray glass material it was transparent but i want it to be not transparent!!where should i adjust it????how to make a realistic glass???thanks!

i wish i can do that too......
i need more practice....

Add some fog color to it.

Yeah as Rick said, add fog colour. Try not to use colours that have any of their parts made of pure 255. And turn the fog multiplier right down otherwise the colour will just be too dark.

Or maybe mess with refraction glossyness. Theres a version of vray for Maya. I just downloaded it from chaosgroup. It works like some of the previous versions for max but it has some limitations. It doesnt support Maya lights and many maya shaders. Its still comforting having a familiar render inside such an alien program like maya.
I think there may be a stand alone renderer also, not sure.
