hey guys. Im having a problem with this chair. I have been following a tutorial on how to model a armchair. Done everything precisely, but when i render it does not come out good.

This is what i get after applying small # of chamfer.

is it something in the render setting that should be fixed? Thanks
(would like to add the link of the tutorial but i think its against the forum rule)

Looks to me like you just need to add a "turbo smooth" modifier with a couple of iterations.

Its okay to post links to tutorials, thats fine. As long as they are free use. The ones the got hidden were because they were pirated commercial materials.

Just out of interest, what would happen if we did post copywrited material and got caught?

I'd probably get a Cease and Desist. Followed by a law suit if they didn't get removed.

Is it a "an error has occured max is about to crash horribly" error?

The model looks good, but yes it does look a bit blurry. What are you rendering with? It looks like it may have a nit of DOF applied.
