I'm sure this is so basic I'm going to feel like a dumb ass.

How do I get a wireframe only render with V-ray. I can get the wire to show over a material with VRayEdgesTex as in the first image. I need it to look like the second image which was done with scanline.

Use a mix material and use the Edges Tex as the mix map, first material as whatever colour diffuse and second material as transparent.

Add the same texture to the opacity slot in the maps tab.. it should work. SEE?

Wait now, I'm really confused. Are we still talking using mix map?

I used a Vray shader... with a vrayedgemap on the diffuse, and the same map on the opacity.
