Aight sooo im on my first actual project a erhm.. well a character who is supposed to wear a hood, and i haven't been able to find any tutorials... silly google just tries to direct me to a head tutorial instead tongue.gif... i tried just tweaking on a 1/3 of a sphere but then i realized that it doesn't render the inside of a mesh (obviously duh) sooo that idea died.. :/... Im gonna apply cloth modifier to it so it'll shape itself around the head so thats not an issue, it's just getting the basic shape ect...

Also my actual main problem, i can survive no hood for now... is that i can't rig to save my own life, whilst workin on my character i've tried rigging him a few times (after optaining the basic body shape tongue.gif ) and it always goes terribly wrong... i just don't know how to precise rig a character with the physique modifier.. it's pretty much impossible to get the joints right and the chin just flat out wont attack itself to the head.. im sorry if i seem negative and all hehe.. it's just that i've been trying for a long time by now and i just can't do it... any tips or anything on rigging would be appriecated to much smile.gif...

oooh and if there is any way to make it also render the inside of a mesh it wold be waesome because when the kilt of my character "floats" in the wind i sometimes exposes part of the inside making it.. well seethrough which looks rather strange in all honesty.. soo if you have any suggestions im happy to learn smile.gif

Use a two sided material or add a shell modifier to give it some volume.
