Hello, 3DSMax newbie here. I need help with something I need to do for a personal project.

So, I have a model all rigged up with a biped using the physique modifier. I have some .bip and .bvh files from 3DS Max 6 that I want to add to it. But, on some of them, when I import the motion capture file, my model goes way off of the origin, when he's perfectly centered originally. Is there something I'm missing to fix this? Do I need to change some settings, check some box, or something? I would greatly appreciate some help.

Also, is it possible to keep every frame of animation centered at the origin? So the character just, for example, walks in place? That would help me out a lot on this project.

Thanks in advance!

Not really sure about your first question but I'm fairly sure the answer to your second question is no. However, it's not that hard to create a simple walk cycle manually and loop it over and over.
