I'm currently doing a project on redesigning a school's social space. How can I create the stripes for the shelter on the picture for 3D MAX? I've tried but it doesn't seem to be working. Any help will be greatly appreciated

The path deform modifier would work. Hunt it down in you max help file to see how it works.
