I second that, for the vase especially. It looks like you've just used a bump map on the wood, can I suggest displacemet?

Curious, did you use reactor to place the marbles?

I agree the floor was an after thought. I'll give displacement a try. I did use reactor to place the marble. I started out with the marbles lined up above the vase and had them fall in. Then I just rotated it and set the reactor again. Figured it would look more natural than just placing marbles everywhere. Thanks for all of your comments. If displacement looks better, I'll repost the picture.

That sounds awesome man. I must learn how to use reactor properly. I've programmed my own particle and physics engine but haven't played with reactor yet smile.gif

It's fairly simple. You just have to make sure to try down the collison distance. By default, it is over 3.0. I usually set it for between .8 to 1.0.

I guess it depends on how big the particles are that you are colliding. Looks like reactor is not smart enough to work it out by itself wink.gif

I saw a tut years ago for making "Weebles", if you remember what they are. If you ever want a quick tut, I could remake that one for the tut section of the forums.

Yea, I didn't much care for the outcome though. I'm gonna try a few other things.
