I have this spline and a curve box and I want to put the spline curve as well, just like the box, how can I do it?
Here's an image to help:
(It can't be by vertex cause the spline is like this (image2))
Hi, I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but I can only think you mean this:
Image shows spline with added vertices (you will have to move them to get the same profile as the box of course).
Or why don't you make a duplicate of that box, then just delete all of the polies except the one shown in the picture and then convert to editable spline if you need it as a spline or keep as editable poly. It's the same difference as having that spline which is there at the side.
yes, Steve martin, I want the spline to follow the curve of the box.
But I don't want to use the vertex method like tozzy said, if there is another way, please share
If you don't want to use the vertex method because it's too time consuming then just do what I said about duplicating the box and deleting the polies except the ones that keep the profile of the original box and convert to editable spline. It's the best way of doing it. Or use the bend modifier, but that'll be pointless.
P.S. If you don't understand what I mean, let me know and I'll post up some pics to demonstrate it .
Sorry pal, I've just looked again at your second image and realised why you can't *feels silly now*. I'll try and think of another way.
Btw, that second image, is that a wireframe?? It doesn't seem like it. It looks to me like a plane with an alpha map applied or something. If so, I don't see why you can't use verts to manipulate the shape.
