Well I spent probably about 1:30 - 2 hrs on this thing.
I would appreciate crits, but keep in mind this is not supposed to be photo realistic. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
Thats really nice, very impressionistic. The colours are describing the forms of the fruit very nicely while still being accurate. When I look at the full res to me it seems like it needs some more detail, even if the details are very painterly. and maybe work in some darker shadows.
Thanks dude i was kinda going for the impressionism feel. As for detail I get what your saying. Thanks for the crit Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
I agree with Tyson about the detail. You have captured it well though, it kind of looks like an old fashioned painting. I like it.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
Very nice, colours are very real and nicely placed. Looks a little fuzzy though. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
Yea I think there is a general opinion here that I need to crisp up those edges. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
Yes, I would agree with the above points. The descriptive colour and fall of light is working really well. Obviously the point regarding sharpening the image has already been raised, and is difficult to incorporate into the speedpainting process. I was curious about the scale at which you were working in this image and the extent to which you use blur on what you are painting.
Like this giant fish in a bear suit. He would be horrible. Look at him go!!
I worked at 1680X1050 and use no blur. it was painted in painter using artist oils. I use the oily bristle brush and the Dry Pallet knife. I used low opacity for blending. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
