hi.

I am almost new to 3dmax, you guys are nice 3d artist, almost everithing here is outstanding wink.gif

I have a problem that I can't solve.
as shown in the screenshot, I did a loft operation and converted the loft into editable poly. after that I wanted do adjust some vertexes and, for some reason, my axis looked (and acted) screwed when trying to modify the object. frown.gif

anyone knows anything about this?

that's because you have local activated, that way axis uses the selections local coordinates and calculates the axis that way, instead of view or world axis, you can change it to "normal" axis by changing the rollout selection on top of your screen on the toolbar where it shows "Local" and switch it to "World" or "View".
I recomend that you experiment with the "local" as it can be extremely usefull in some situations.
