whenever i make a shape using "convert to editable poly" and extrude edges, i add a texture but the texture always seems to get stretched or squeezed within the space of each face. is there any way i can add the texture so that it will go over every face of the object with no warping or stretching?

here is an image to show what i am talking about:

For that particular model you'll want to add a UVW Mapping modifier and set the mapping to "box". For different shaped models you'll have to use different mapping or unwrap it. But that's a biit more advanced.

thanks man. that will help me for now because most of my shapes will be boxes anyways.
