I think the teapot means noob.

Anyways, I just picked up 3ds max and I'm eager to get my feet wet in it. I've already gone through a few tutorials to get the basics, but I haven't even scratched the surface yet. Either way I'm hoping to really get the hang of it and start making some cool stuff.

Yeah we give the teapot avatar to the noobs. Feel free to make your own avatar and upload it in your Profile. Instructions are in the FAQ on the menu.

Also if you are looking for something fun and simple to do, we have a running challenge to make the most interesting use of a teapot. The thread is in the Challenges forum. Feel free to submit!
