I final got around to putting together some effects to go with my droid. This is a sample that I made that's just 6 seconds. I had a brain storm after I made it for some setting in Rayfire to make the firing a little more accurate for a gun of this nature. I incorporated VRay Rendering, FumeFX, Particle Flow and Rayfire for these effects. Let me know what you think. If you like it, show me some love on my portfolio..lol

I wanted to do more, like have RayFire Boolean bigger holes instead of using Decals, but I didn't want to comp anything and render it all together. I'll of these effects rendering together was a bit much for even my computer....lol... The only thing I didn't like, and I'll have to go back and try it, was that Rayfire guns all fire at once.. I realize now that if I wanted them to shoot each barrel at a time, I would have to make a Muzzle Flash, Impact Flash & Bullet on individual layers instead of running all barrels on one layer.. I'm going to start over... woot!!!!!

Thats an awesome effect!. great work. It has a really good satisfying crunch to it (for want of a better word ) my only crit would be your camera move, it makes me want to turn my head to catch more of the impacts for some reason.
I'm working on a animation in a warehouse that I started last night. It may take a little while to complete, but it's something I've been thinking about since I made the droid.
