Couldn't post in bugs section, so here goes:

The top toolbar in 3ds max is totally screwed, I've tried reinstalling twice. I think it has something to do with PolyBoost, as soon as the demo ran out it messed up.

try deleting the polyboost .dll, then find your 3dsmax.ini file in the root directory and delete it. You will lose all your UI settings but hopefully get a fresh toolbar aswell
