i changed the opacity of my PNG texture in photoshop, because i need transparent model.. but in 3ds max is just not transparent
can somebody help me to set it transparent? smile.gif

Try to safe as GIF. also, try and choose the Save for web option instead of save as.

hm, if you need a transparent object with transparent texture, the easy way would be to normally apply a texture to your object (you don't need to change opacity in photoshop) and in material editor go your material, and change the opacity (i'll repeat, change the opacity in max's material editor, not in photoshop on your texture).
Value of 100 = no transparency, 0 fully transparent object and texture.

I remember it was hard to use 32bit textures natively.

Try messing around with the alpha channel options in the BITMAP rollout.

Or just make an alpha map and apply it to opacity slot.
