Interesting. Are you going to develop this more? Was this done in Photoshop? It is an interesting techniquePlease support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
It's pure inspiration and it's over... ^^
No, I used Alias Sketchbook 2.0.
Very nice, way lighter than Paint Shop Pro and PhotoShop. It lacks a lot of drawing tools, has no effects to apply, but to....sketch it's totally awesome. While moving my pen on the tablet it doesnt miss a single movement (thanks to my Intuos 3 too ^^).
About the technique, it's nothing special: I've started drawing like that about.....13 years ago (!! >.< ) at school, when the lectures were particularly boring....which means I've drawn a lot! ^^
It's all about giving starting shapes, drawing the subject and its surroundings (like that heart and the spiral) and then filling the spaces between with "connections"....think of drawing the rock blocks that compose a sculpture giving them shapes that follow the "flow" of the subjects.
Couldnt explain it better, but if my scanner still works, I'll try to post my school time "works" =)
No Gods but Yourself!! >.<
