Hi fellows,

I just switched to another operating system: Ubuntu Linux. I found some different way to make Windows applications run on Ubuntu, such as wine. Somehow I can't get wine working not even with FAQ's help. And I have no idea how the thing with the remote desktop works. So I wonna ask if there is somebody around here who's running 3D S Max on a Linux-based operating system already and can tell me how he made it.

Greetings Solidstrike

Sorry I don't have much to give you. But gererally the more complex the program is the harder it will be to run on Linux. You may want to think about dual booting if you must use Linux.

The other option would be to look into something like VMWare or other virtualization software.
