Hi,
I am new to 3ds max. I am trying to add texture to a model using unwrap uvw modifier.
This is my UV template with textures applied to it.

When I apply this UVW on my 3d model it looks like very low resolution of textures is applied to it.
What i am doing wrong here.

usually unless the mesh needs to be used in a game or something you can get better results by tiling a high res map rather than try to squeeze all the textures into one bitmap. how does it look in the render? maybe you need to increase your viewport texture display resolution too.

Yeh, your mapping looks pretty good. You might just need a higher res texture.
