I've been thinking about this for a long time. The idea is to be able to get an "at-a-glance" visual on where everybody is.
It would be great if we had an interactive map showing the general location of site users. You know, when you hover over a dot on the map it shows the user name,...or something.

If you guy's think this is infeasible as a site feature, do you have any ideas on how it could be implemented in another way.

My second thought was to just create a thread called "Where In The World Are You" and have everybody edit a supplied map.
I'm not sure how well that would work though, any ideas on this?
