Hey guys,
I'm Valkyrion, 16, and am from Belgium.
After a few tutorials I started a 10-lesson course this week.
All the basics were explained and we got an assignment: build a truck consisting of primitives.
I'm ready with that now, but now I have a question; do you gus know some items that can be made with only primitives?
I'm having a hard time coming up with stuff I want to make.
Edit: These are two renders of a sword I just made, nothing too fancy and some basic materials, no playing around with values.
Is this any good?
I hope you guys can help me.
See you around,
Val

Basicly everything is made by modeling primitives, convert them to editable poly and model it to what ever you want.
As you said that you are just starting max, probably google can help you a lot, try searching for some free tutorials, here's few links i came up with:
[Link to www.3dsmaxtutorials.net] and [Link to www.3dtotal.com] is really good site.
hope you have a good time here at the forum and good luck with your projects.
