After reading about some awards this cartoon has received year after year, I went to "The Internet" and found episodes of 'Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends'. Coming in with low expectations, the show blew me off my feet!
Now don't get me wrong. It still has a lot of lame kid humor in it. And there are some episodes that didn't make me laugh. But the plots are always well written and normally always finish with a twist. Full online episodes, with commercials, are found legally on, cartoon network's site.
yea thats a pretty good cartoon bloo is really entertaining and Mac is a cool character
The only problem I had with the show was that it gets a bit repetitive and so somewhat predictable, but it has some great episodes.
few other good kid cartoons like it..
Invader Zim (#1)
The miss adventures of flap jack (off the wall funny)
Courage the cowardly Dog (the little pup is lovable and the show almost always does the unexpected)
Im also a fan of the Naruto series myself but thats more of a cult hit to get addicted to.
There are some great animation shows directed towards more of an adult audience as well. some of my fav..
Samurai Champloo (#1)
Paranoia Agent (don't know why exactly but this show is great creepy factor maybe? prob best animation wise)
Samurai 7 (remake of an old movie with a very creative take tho)
Home Movies (very funny)
South Park (everyone should know )
Futurama (also common)
Outlaw Star (can't recall how good this one was but it left an impression)
Cowboy Bebop (great classic)
Trigun (so/so story line but great characters)
Ghost in the Shell (not my fav but good animation and intro)
The Venture bro's (funny show)
FLCL (odd but one of the best I would say you would prob love it or hate it)
"I change my mind so much I can't even trust it. My mind changes me so much I can't even trust myself."
Animation wise for older audiences... has anyone ever seen the movie waltz with bashir?
Such a beautifully done documentry.
I still till this day cant get into invader zim. I cant work out why. Everything about it is something I should ADORE, but I think Zim reminds me of my older brother. haha.
Paranoia agent sits on our dvd shel here at home, Ill have to take a look.
Has anyone seen Haibane Renmei? Whenever I get bad days I watch it to calm down. haha. Honestly it does wonders for stress levels! A stunning little show where not a hell of alot happens... but somehow the sweet side of it sucks you in.

Just watched that movie Waltz it was pretty cool the dogs at the start sucked me in right away the movie itself was a great story, entertaining, artistic, and it got the desired result from me, that I became interested in the story behind the movie right away after watching it.
"I change my mind so much I can't even trust it. My mind changes me so much I can't even trust myself."
totally agree, beautifully told. and the dogs... first thing that got me was how well they were animated. Gah. so good

It certainly is love. I have a Metalocalypse shirt that I look ever so cool in.
There is a great deal to enjoy about Fairly Odd Parents - It's for the whole family.
Like this giant fish in a bear suit. He would be horrible. Look at him go!!
there was a very well made cartoon that came out earlier this year called figaro pho. it had some top notch animation............sorry couldn't resist
seriously though invader zim is amazing as is a lot of adult swim cartoons. aqua teen hunger force and harvey birdman are really funny
and it's a story that might bore you, but you don't have to listen, because I always knew it was going to be like that.
Invader Zim is great prob seen them all 10 times over meats of evil, Ikkins, and The wettening are prob my fav episodes Zims the coolest main character and o course Gir ownz the cute factor along with Ultra Hamster.. all the characters were great now that I think about it.. btw is that a JtHM avatar?
"I change my mind so much I can't even trust it. My mind changes me so much I can't even trust myself."
you bet, the scariest cover in the series.
