This site has a great little library of effects for particle mapping or compositing. HAve a goot range of explosions, fire, dust, blood etc and tutorials on making your own. There aren't many sites around where you can get stuff like this so cheap or even for free, so make sure you check it out.

Yeh, this stuff is pretty hard to find, and most of it is either crap or really expensive. These ones are good and cheap.
