Hey guys

I haven't used video post before so I'm a little stuck... I have set up my scene ready to render and executed the sequence... but the frames are not saving. I can manually save each individual one as an image, but I don't want to do that for a sequence of 200 frames... ideally I'd like an avi file at the end of it tongue.gif

Please help

Hi mate...

Hope this would help you....

Go to Rendering in your main UI then open render setup or shortcut F10.. under Common>Common parameters> (below) Time Output,, change Single to Active Time Segment or you can custom at Range..

for saving it as .avi file .. still in Common Parameters scroll down look for Render Output>click Files>input Filename and of course FileType(.avi)>click Save lastly RENDER... grin.gif

Enjoy and Have a cup of coffee for rendering... grin.gif

Cheers,

In video post you need to add an output event. Generally you only need video post if you intend to use a video post effect such as a video post lens effect. that would be something like
>add scene event
>add image filter event (eg.lens effect)
>add output event

Its all a bit redundant really. you are better off using a render effect or better still use a compositing program to do post effect glows and stuff.

Is there a reason why you arent using the standard render dialogue?.

The only other time I'd use video post is if I've got a bunch of renders to do that will only take a few hours each and I can queue them up to render over night.
