So I was doing a fair bit of rendering recently at work and I found it quite boring to say the least. I'm all on my own at the moment so table tennis wasn't an option, and obviously I couldn't play games because all the computers were rendering. So I had to busy myself by watching vids on the interweb. Not so much individual videos but series, as they'd generally last longer. So here are some ideas for next time you've got hours of free time in front of a computer:
The Escapist Magazine
[Link to www.escapistmagazine.com] has some videos series well worth watching. Best is probably Zero Punctuation which is a bunch of game reviews done by the very funny and fast talking Yahtzee.

They also have Escape to the Movies with Movie Bob who is less funny and talks slower but it's still worth a watch for some good movie reviews.

Also worth a watch is Doomsday Arcade which is a little series made by a couple of Australian guys in which video games come to life and take over the world. It's made quickly and cheaply but they've got some cool special effects in there and it's pretty damn funny. The cover games such as Fallout 3, Half Life, Portal, Bioshock, Mario and many many more so you probably won't get all the jokes but you'll get most of them.

There's also the Angry Video Game Nerd whom has been posted on this site before. Full list of episodes here:

Oh, and a big fat LANGUAGE WARNING on all of these videos.
So anyone else got some good ideas for my next large rendering session? Remember, series' of videos only. Individual cool videos can go in the cool video thread.
