yeah looking nice. It needs something to make it look bigger in scale. It looks kind of miniature for some reason. Maybe texture or camera angle, or maybe its the amount of colour bleed. I'm not sure the green colour from grass would bounce that high up the wall if it was 8 meters high or so.
great job Niksta....really nice work... i think Tyson is right..... the scale proportion is making the villa look somewhat small....other than that, it's awesome work.
nice exterior, Niksta, what did you use for the trees?
maybe try using Vray displacement to make some grass
Everything has some beauty but not everyone is able to see it (Confucius)
thanks for the comments fellas, I plan to add a car to the foreground to give an element of scale, vray daylight/sunlight lighting, hdri map for environment (possibly a blue pink sunset) install garden lights, open a few doors for a sneak peak into the house, add a few bikini characters (naughty but nice : ) and then finish it all off with more foliage, trees bushes and a few colourful plants. The Coconut Palm trees here are ArchModels Palm trees, but I'd like to include next some OnyxTree models for greater realism. If you can think of anything extra I should do to add to my list of Mods please comment, and thanks for checking it out! : )
There is a light that never goes out....
yeah, it should look great. I'd suggest building a bit more of the environment behind the house into the distance. maybe show some beach or dunes and the ocean off into the horizon. At the moment it looks like we could be on the edge of the world. plus it would sell the condo if you had a view of the beach right?
Oh, and that pool looks spot on.
Hey Guys thanks for the ideas above, I am having some major problems @ render time (I have inserted a couple more detailed trees which are causing me memory errors) Is there a 'quick fix' to enable the render to complete? Thanks in adv for any pointers! : ) I'm using Vray but I think the prob is with Max memory, I have 2GB RAM.

Depends, what are your render stats... bc it could be high subdivs in the light, or high render materials applied to the render scene.. It could also be high levels of polygons in one scene.. do you have the actual palmtree in the scene? or a vray proxy? Proxy's save a lot of memory when it comes to render time and avoids max to crash while rendering... Always try to keep Lights, Mats, and Poly count in harmony. That gives you a succesfull render. ;D
Get back to us on the Light subdiv. and render stats. We can start from there. And if everything is normal, we can check the Mats that are in the scene just in case!

Lovely mesh man, i like your build. I tend to agree with the rest, but im really anctious to see how this turns out with all settings on high maybe add an hdri sky or light instance, it would look great on your villa.
It's also a good idea to render in layers. It's usually a bit of mucking around but it will help to prevent crashes, plus it gives you more flexibility when compositing.[Link to www.3dprevis.com]
if your looking for a real quick fix for a out of memory error go to vray system and change to dynamic geometry. But really it doesnt seem like theres an awefull lot in the scene at this stage. maybe your hedge row is really dense?
