one of the guys i work with had a cintiq, i got to use it a few times. If I could justify spending the money i would buy one in a heart beat but i just dont think it would be worth it for me.
and it's a story that might bore you, but you don't have to listen, because I always knew it was going to be like that.
I could justify it, but I can afford it ... grr plus intuos 4 looks rad. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
Yeah, I couldnt justify it either mainly because my day to day use of the computer involves jumping from program to program which i think would just be awkward with a cintique. the new intuos 4 on the other hand is something I really do want to get someday but I have a trip to Japan in June for which I am saving every penny so it will have to wait. Travel vs new tech. its always been a troublesome priority choice for me.
I tested one out at a convention, and it was pretty rad, but i found that the response time was a bit slow? I'm not sure if thats how all of them are, but it put me off a bit
same, when i used it i did notice a tiny tiny big of lag, but it was still extremely usable. another thing is the screen became very warm after a while so resting my hand and arm on it became a little uncomfortable/ weird.

Yea apparently if you wear one of the wierd drawing gloves it fixes most of those issues. Please support us and post a [Link to www.digitalartsfront.com] on your website.
yeah, and I found that the hard smoothness of the screen doesnt feel as natural as the tablet. theres a bit of "tooth' on the tablet especially with some of the alternative nibs which makes it feel more like real media to me.
