Hi ... i'm new around here ...and to 3ds max... But in my quest to do my room in 3ds max ,i've come acros a hard thing to do...the drawer handle ... i've tryied to do it blueprint style (no blueprint on the internet so i tried with pictures i took ) but it came all wrong ...don't know how to do it

please some advice ?

And i've got that handle on all my dors from my furniture...

My advice is to work on tutorials and put off trying to make anything, just yet.
A door handle will be one of the least challenging things you'll ever have to model.

I'm betting you're not going to do this tutorial. So I'm just going to ask you to at least skim through it.

... have done some tutorials ...so that's ok... i have patience

EDIT LATER : in the video tutorial ...the guy selects all the eges that surounds the bench without selecting each and every one of them (when he is dooing the "bridge" ) ...he just pushes a combination between mouse and keyboard...wonder what button is that ...hmmm...

Wow... That was a strange tutorial. Why in the world did the guy take all of those extra steps using planes and bridging them together, instead of just using a box? Just goes to show that everyone has their own way of doing things....lol

Banzai, If you watch closely you can see that he uses border sub object then switches to edge and quickly deselects the two edges of the face that he created with bridge.

Rick, I think the tut is more about using bridge and connect than it is about the easiest way to make a table. True though, it is funny how five people can show you five ways of doing something.

thankyou so much; i knew about loft and what it does ,but not ever crossed my mind to do the handle with loft... and i should definetly try the deformation rollout (tho i get confused in the options for the deformations ... but practice makes perfect, right ?
