I think we need a fun challenge that isn't laden with rules/restrictions and specifics, but still has a clear focus.

Now that I've re-adjusted to the hours I work, I'm finding more time to play.

Ok my suggestions. Render a simple object surrealistically. Make some kind of simple household object interesting and artistic. Give everyone a photo to interprate as they wish. any others. I need your help here.

What if everyone submits a photo of an object or simple scene or whatever, then we'll take a poll to decide which photo becomes the subject of the new challenge?

OR

Everyone submits a photo of a single simple object, and we use the top five or so submissions. The challenge entries would be required to feature those objects.

Just some thoughts.

Anyone can submit a picture,.....One per user... Simple or not, it can, or will not be incorporated into a 3D scene.

Anyone interested in participating can chose from any of those submitted pictures.

We did end up doing a photorealism challenge but only 3 people entered. Personally I wouldn't mind extending it as I didn't get a chance to finish mine. Not sure if anyone else was keen on entering it?
