Oh fair enough I guess, but I think it is funny how the new xbox can't RRoD any more, because they took the red lights out but does have a "i am too hot so I will shut myself down" function put in which is good to see... unless that screws up and xbox's all over the place shut down randomly for no reason LOL.

I played AC1 on PC a while back. I enjoyed it however I found some of the mechanics a bit odd and it was very grindy after a while.

well, I was sure you had fallen for the ps3's charms based on your previous posts. I think you made the right decision.
I have red dead redemption and its really great. I havent played that much of it though due to getting into dragon age and having it consume me.
Assasins creed 2 is WAY way better than the first one, a thoroughly enjoyable game on many levels.
Alan wake I havent played but from reviews I get the impression that its fun with a good story but a bit repetitive with the combat.
I havent bought it yet because it sounds like the kind of game I wouldnt end up finishing, like so many others before it.

I played Dragon Age on pc and I found it really hard, to the point where I gave up. I hear it is a lot easier on console.

yeah, I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Its been pretty easy so far just very complicated and branching in the quest lines. theres so much to do that you dont feel like you can see the edge of the game, if you know what I mean, it helps the game feel bigger than if you could see how it all fit together. it lacks that open world exploration feel that you get from games like oblivion and fallout 3 but it has a depth to the characters and the writing thats so good it just keeps me coming back to see whats next. I couldnt play a game like this sitting at my desk. not when theres over 100 hours in it, I'm willing to put up with less texture resolution for the comfort of the couch.

I bought a vga cable for my xbox and I run it through my pc monitor. 30 bucks. Saved me having to by a crazy tv.
