I often prefer TV series to movies these days, so my question to all of you is, what are you watching?

I have been watching:

Dexter

The series blends drama, horror and black comedy as it follows the day-to-day events in the life of Dexter Morgan, a forensic blood spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department who also happens to be a serial killer. He was taught by his adoptive father, Harry, only to kill those "who deserve it"; mainly, other killers who have escaped the legal system or were never suspected in the first place. The series shows him balancing an everyday life with his secret identity, all while keeping up a facade of normalcy.

Shameless

Shameless is a BAFTA award-winning British drama television series set in the fictional Chatsworth council estate, Manchester, England. Produced by Company Pictures for Channel 4, the first seven-episode series aired weekly on Tuesday nights at 10pm from 13 January 2004. The comedy drama, centred on British underclass and working class culture, has been accorded critical acclaim by various sections of the British media, including The Sun newspaper and Newsnight Review on BBC Two. Shameless is one of the most successful recent British TV programmes.

Dragon's Den

Dragons' Den is a venture capitalist television programme that originated in Japan where the format is owned by Sony and partially Microsoft. The format, which is now broadcast internationally, consists of entrepreneurs pitching their ideas in order to secure investment finance from business experts—the "Dragons".

I am always looking for new stuff to watch... problem is I start watching a show and in less than a week I have watched it all stare.gif

Breaking Bad
This shows is really really good!! it is such a sad and depressing show but is also very light hearted and funny. It is about a high school chemistry teacher Walter White is diagnosed with stage three terminal lung cancer, but cannot afford the payment for treatment. On a ride along with his DEA agent brother-in-law, Hank he sees a former student of his, Jesse Pinkman , fleeing the scene of a meth lab. He contacts Jesse and devises a scheme to cook meth with Jesse, and distribute it to pay for his operations.

Fooly Cooly (FLCL)
This anime is really kinda strange, it is basically one big parody of Japanese culture, only going for 6 episodes it is worth the time to sit down and watching it!! It is kind of hard to follow, but has an awesome sound track (thanks to the pillows) and may not be to everyone's tastes.

FLCL revolves around Naota. His life is interrupted by the arrival of Haruko Haruhara, who bursts on the scene by running Naota over with her Vespa scooter, then giving him CPR and hitting him on the head with a blue vintage Rickenbacker 4001 left-handed reverse strung electric bass guitar. Later, Naota is shocked to find Haruko working in his house as a live-in maid.

Since then Giant Robots from Medical Meccanica have been coming out of his head and cause more problems for Naota and Haruko. Haruko is using Naota for her search for the Pirate King, Atomsk, which puts her at odds with Medical Meccanica, the monolithic industrial corporation. At the same time, Naota is being watched by Commander Amarao. The Commander believes Haruko is in love with Atomsk and that Medical Meccanica is out to conquer the galaxy. The combination of circumstances gets Naota involved in a three-way battle between Haruko, Amarao and Medical Mechanica.

(thank you wiki for your plots tot he shows because i am 2 lazy to write them for myself XD.gif)
It is ok, I wouldn't talk to me either...

Haha wow selling meth for lung cancer operations, at least it sounds original. But seriously I may have to check it out. However "it is such a sad and depressing show" is kind of putting me of a little. I have enough trouble in my own life at the moment.

The thing is, everywhere this show is counted as a comedy, it is depressing because a guy feels he has to go to these lengths and to see that no-one around him seems to get what he is going through. the show is a really interesting piece of social commentary.... Bryan Cranston is AMAZING in this show!! It honestly has the best opening scene to any show ever!! I have never watched a show and more or less been hooked because of the first scene stare.gif

I haven't gotten around to watching that yet. Could have something to do with the fact we both work all the time.

Ah Tyson I feel your pain... except I come up with inappropriate remarks most of the time. Sometimes working with all males (bar my younger sister who has a filthier mind than anyone at work) has its upside smile.gif (and American Dad marathons ftw)
