Very nice, I think your going to need a bigger bottle if you want to fill those glasses and have a party.lol.. I'm going to have to try to create a glass one of these days with the cold sweat beads running down the sides.. See if you can figure that one out.. Once again, great job.

thanks for the feedback guys spitfire that sounds awsome i know what you are meaning sounds complex.

Varnished i have used a vray glass texture and a mask and a falloff i found a tutorial on how to create realistic glass texture i would love it know how to put like water in the glass without using vray. do you know how this can be done if thats not to much trouble. here is a model that i got inspired by i found it on echange 3d smile.gifsmile.gif thanks everyone

You need to actually modle the water as a separate object, then apply a glass-like material to it, but with a lower IOR, like 1.33 or something.

Just make the material the same as you would make a glass material.

The IOR means Index of Refraction and is how dense the material is meant to be. It affects the amount the light gets bent when passing through the material.

Glass is about 1.6, water is less dense so its about 1.33.

If you're using vray, to make it more see through just up the amount of refraction. If it's just the default renderer, lower the opacity.

Great work. For your ice cubes, get a box, convert to edit poly, chamfer the edges, apply a turbosmooth mod (3 iterations or so).

Should give nice ice!

It's looking good. Can I suggest a shell modifier on the glass? Just to give it a bit of bulk.

I was thinking the same thing. The glass is very thin. The shell mod with thicken it up.

Looking great, now you need to render with caustics to get the nice light refraction coming through the glass and ice.

Looking great. Caustics would certainly add to it though.
