Hands down the most complete and polished animation I've seen on this site. There's absolutely nothing sloppy at all in it, everything , the sound, the models, the animation the post effects etc is as close to perfect as you can get. Well done Jas, in case you can't tell, I really like it.

Comment - The final, polished piece for my Studio Assessment. The work was created with a clear idea of combining French theorist Jean Baudrillards ideas of hyperrealism with William Burkes writings concerning the sublime. The use of 3D software as an artistic medium really embodies the notion of constructing a reality which is highly detailed and believable, yet fundamentally unreal. Constructed and Animated in 3D Studio Max 9, Textured using both procedural and Photoshop matte painting techniques, Rendered with Mental Ray, Edited in Final Cut Pro. Music created in Soundtrack Pro using Apple Loops. All work copyright Jasmine Kurda.
