The angle is a lot better this time, although I'd like to see the shading blended a little more if you're willing to spend some more time on it.

Its a great concept, would be good if you could really polish it up. I know how tedious blending is

thanks for the feedback and everything, i'm happier with it too, but definitely not satisfied. I'm a beginner with digital painting, so i'm still trying to get used to it all. Definitely more of a paper and pencil person. You are definitely right though; blending can sure be tedious

i kind of used an uneducated technique, to be honest. i'm pretty ignorant when it comes to digital painting, and i'm still trying to get used to photoshop and the wacom tablet. i've been scouring the internet looking for techniques others use, but i did look at that tutorial Jamie did, and i really like it. Very simple and informative. thanks for showing me that.
